Floyd Richard Cmela, 65, of Cadiz, died on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at 6 a.m., at his residence of natural causes. There will be no services. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.

Mr. Cmela was born on March 18, 1941, in Newport, NYY. He was the son of the late William and Katherine Zastawany Cmela.

Mr. Cmela was formerly a Baker for a Bakery in California and Utica, NY; had previously been employed at the manager at Pizza Magic in Cadiz; and was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Cmela; two brothers, Billy Cmela and Edward Cmela; and a sister, Delores Cmela.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Kathy Cmela, of Cadiz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher Grant and Nancy Cmela of Wilmore, Ky., and Floyd William and Michelle Cmela of Clitherall, Minn.; a daughter, Sabrina Cmela of Cadiz; a brother, Kenneth Midura of Booneville, NY; a sister, Sandra Midura of Clarksville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, Victor Cmela and Dimas Cmela, both of Cadiz, Dakota Cmela and Cheyenne Cmela, both of Wilmore, Ky., and Brandon Cmela of Clitherall, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.
