Fort Campbell, which improved to 3-14 with the win. remained a bucket or two out in front of Trigg County at the end of each rest stop. The Falcons led 17-13 at the end of the first quarter and took a hard-fought 30-27 lead into halftime. Fort Campbell led 47-41 when the third quarter concluded.
Junior forward DJ Davis led Fort Campbell with 20 points. Davis had a trio of teammates join him in double figures in the scoring column. Senior forward Raquan Durrante scored 18 points while junior forward Antonio Andrews and sophomore forward Brian Hargraves added 10 points apiece for the Wildcats.
Senior guard Shelton Burrus joined King in double figures for Trigg County, finishing with 15 points. Junior guard Jalik Alexander added eight points for the Wildcats. Junior guard Bradley Davis dumped in six points, junior forward Zeke Wright scored five and senior forward Dustin White flipped in two for Trigg County.
Trigg County fell to 14-11 following the loss.
