Graveside services for Gary “Bear” Horing, 64, of Princeton, were conducted on Sunday, July 30, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Liberty Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Bro. Mike Franklin officiated at the services. Burial followed in the cemetery.

Mr. Horing died on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at 2:19 a.m., at Crittenden County Hospital following a short illness.

Mr. Horing was born on July 24, 1942, in Evansville, Ind. He was the son of Reba Christine Roberts Horning of Princeton, and the late James William Horning, Jr.

Mr. Horing was a truck driver; and a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Harper Horning in 1999.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a daughter, Genia Morris of Princeton; a granddaughter, Samantha Morris; a stepdaughter, Linda Nichols of Frankfort; a stepson, David Fletcher of Calvert City; six step-grandchildren, Jennifer Greenup, Joe Nichols, Laura Cross, Robert Fletcher, Ashley Fletcher, and Shawn Fletcher; and a step-great-grandchild, Dante Greenup; a sister, Reba Rogers of Lakeside, Ore.; a niece, Cindy Bogart; and a nephew, Steve Hale.

Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton are in charge of all the arrangements.
