Funeral services for Genell Gaye Pavey, 50, of Princeton, were conducted on Sunday, March 19, 2006, at 2:30 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Reed Shepherd officiated at the services. Burial followed in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Mrs. Pavey died on Thursday, March 16, 2006, at 11:05 a.m., in the Emergency Room at Caldwell County Hospital of natural causes.

Mrs. Pavey was born on September 9, 1955, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of Eleanor Crenshaw Rice and the late George Powell.

Mrs. Pavey was a homemaker and mother, and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Ronald Pavey, Jr.; a son, Joshua Pavey of Princeton; four daughters, Jennifer McGregor, Brandi Caraway, Veronica Frederick, and Sara Pavey, all of Princeton; four grandchildren; a brother, Greg Powell of Princeton; and two sisters, Ginger Franklin of Princeton, and Lisa Malone of Nashville, Tenn.
