Georgia Meredith died of natural causes at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.
Georgia was born on May 24, 1926, in Springerton, Ill., to the late George and Ruth Black McGehee.
Georgia was a homemaker and a member of Linton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie R. Meredith; three brothers, Leonard, Bill and Don McGehee; and one sister, Dorothy Jones.
She is survived by two sons, David Meredith (and wife Caroly) of Cadiz and Eddie Meredith (and wife Betsy) of Princeton; one daughter, Janice Pickard (and husband Bill) of Woodlawn, Tenn.; nine grandchildren David Allen Meredith, Adam Meredith, Scott Meredith, Ken Wallace, Gina Wilmurth, Ashley Hargrove, Jody Rininger, Paula Gaines and Kevin Pickard; ten great-grandchildren Derek Rogers, Erica Rogers, Avery Wilmurth, Annabelle Wilmurth, Leandra Meredith, Shawn Wallace, Christopher Lee, Kyle Gaines, Mackenzie Gaines and Shelby Pickard.
Serving as pallbearers were David Alan Meredith, Scott Meredith, Derek Rogers, Ken Wallace, Shawn Wallace and Adam Meredith. Music was provided by Becky Waldrup, vocalist and Cynthia Cronin, pianist.
