Funeral services for Gladys Louise Tyler, 63, of Cadiz were conducted on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 1 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Patrick Yates officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Mrs. Tyler died on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at 1:30 p.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, of natural causes.

Mrs. Tyler was born on February 15, 1945, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Taylor Parker.

Mrs. Tyler had been employed with Elk Brand Manufacturing Company in Cadiz and was a member of Canton Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Parker; and a sister, Elizabeth Ann Parker.

Survivors include her husband, Paul “John” Tyler of Cadiz; two daughters and son-in-law, Kelly Tyler and Tina Louise and Shelby Joe Mart, all of Cadiz; three brothers, Robert Parker, Douglas Parker, and Charles Parker, all of Cadiz; and two sisters, Carolyn Thomas and Ruth Cunningham, both of Cadiz.

Serving as pallbearers were Robert Parker, Mike Thomas, Joe Mart, Douglas Parker, Douglas Cunningham, and Bryan Parker.
