Goldie Essie Trimble, age 81, of Cadiz, died on Friday, June 3, 2005, at 5:45 p.m. at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz after a short illness.

She was born in Marshall County on August 6, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Walter Scott and Lillie Bell Coomer Trimble and was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral service was held on Monday, June 6, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home with the Reverends Billy Hart and Russell Dunn officiating the service and the eulogy was given by Ralph Harris. Burial followed in Briensburg Cemetery in Benton. King Funeral Home of Cadiz was in charge of all arrangements.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Geneva Trimble.

She is survived by two brothers Garlon Trimble of Murray and Gene Trimble of New Concord, Kentucky, two sisters Golene Futrell of Cadiz and Gustie Henson of Benton.

Pallbearers were Ralph Harris, Scotty Futrell, Jeff Futrell, Eucklie Henson, Walter Trimble and Jackie Henson. Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Harris, Roger Henson, William Henson, Michael Trimble, Danny martin, and Steve Trimble.

Music was provided by Ricky Harris, soloist and Clarissa King, pianist.
