Golfers win at Hopkinsville

Trigg County claimed a dual match golf win over Hopkinsville Sept. 19 at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club.

Tyler Mitchell took medalist honors with a 1-under-par 34 as the Wildcats won 151-175.

Jordan McNichols fired an even par 35 to help the Wildcats to the win, while Taylor Lowary added a 40, Curtis Mitchell a 42, and Shaun Sizemore a 48.

Jarron Bolton posted Hopkinsville’s low score with a 43.

No other information on any of Trigg County’s other matches were available. Head coach Darrett Brinker was not available for comment.

Trigg County was scheduled to play in the Region I Golf Tournament this week.
