Rev. O.D. Boyd, assisted by Rev. Jimmy Fuller, officiated at the services. Burial followed in Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Mrs. Williamson died on Saturday, August 12, 2006, at 1:30 p.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz following a long illness.
Mrs. Williamson was born on November 1, 1921, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Porter Mason and Lee Otis Sanders King.
Mrs. Williamson was a homemaker, and was a member of Caldwell Blue Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Errol Williamson in June 2000; a grandson, James Darrin Smith; three brothers, J.D. King, Jewel King, and Millard King; and a sister, Addie Lee Mathis.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Charlotte Williamson of Trigg County; a daughter, Shirley Smith of Trigg County; three sisters, Rebecca Fowler of Fredonia, Mary Jones of Trigg County, and Lucille Griffin of Murray; nine grandchildren, Fred Smith, Ronnie Smith, Sandy Perry, Susan Wilkins, Melissa Hargis, Holly Williamson, Dawn Williamson, Genna Vanlue, and Chad Hargis; and 13 great-grandchildren, Aaron Hendon, Lynzie Birdsong, Tailer Smith, Joelle Jornov, Zachary Smith, Mason Altenbaugh, Matthew Smith, Austin Williamson, Catlyn Williamson, Trevor Vanlue, Olivia Hargis, Tristian Oakes, and Harley Perry.
Fred Smith pianist, Teresa Smith, organist, and Susan Wilkins, Joelle Jornov, and Melissa Hargis, vocalists provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Jim Vanlue, Robert Altenbaugh, Aaron Hendon, Chad Hargis, Charles Jones, and Terry King.
