The Trigg County Ham Festival Committee met Monday evening and said in retrospect that this year’s festival was one of the best on record.

“This was the smoothest year,” Committee member Pam Alexander said.

Few problems were reported by committee members, other than minor glitches that peppered the weekend.

Most of the comments and criticisms that were heard by committee members over the weekend were constructive, with little derogatory remarks made.

“We had mostly good comments,” committee member Jeris Womack said. “[Visitors] were enjoying themselves.”
