Wedding vows were exchanged by Jill Litchfield and Ricky Hamilton, both of Cadiz, on Thursday, June 9, 2005, at 4:30 p.m., on the front lawn of the bride’s parents, Harvey and Barbara Mitchell.

Kevin Stroud officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Harvey and Barbara Mitchell of Princeton.

Parents of the groom are the late James Taylor Hamilton and Lucille Tyler Drennan.

Teresa Boyd, sister of the bride, of Princeton, served as Matron of Honor.

Jessica Litchfield, daughter of the bride, of Cadiz, served as bridesmaid.

Jerry Stroud of Cadiz, friend of the groom, served as Best Man.

Sara Reddick and Rebecca Reddick, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls.

The bride was dressed in a long, Peridot halter dress, and carried a single yellow rose.

Song, I Swear, My Girl, was played.

A reception followed the wedding at Blue Springs Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Hostesses were Linda Terrell, June Ezell, Michelle Hyde, and Teresa Underhill-Dunn, all of Cadiz.

The Bride’s Cake, made by Teresa Underhill-Dunn, was a heart-shaped three-tiered, white cake adorned with yellow roses, daises, crystal grapes, and white butterflies.

The Groom’s Cake, also made by Teresa Underhill-Dunn, was chocolate with chocolate icing, adorned with a porcelain buck, and strawberries dipped in chocolate around bottom of cake.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is making their home in Cadiz.
