Funeral services Lloyd “Hank” Lester, 73, of Cadiz, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009 at King’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Lloyd Tucker and Debbi Lester will officiate. Burial will follow at Calhoun Hill Cemetery in Trigg County. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday at King’s Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 8:30 p.m.

Mr. Lester died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at his residence due to cancer.

He was born Sept. 26, 1935 in Louisville. His parents were Lloyd Lester and Ethel Yann.

He was retired from K&I Railroad; David Construction, Inc.; was a Kentucky State Building Inspector, an avid fisherman and of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Lester is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Potts Lester of Cadiz; two sons, Daniel Lester and William Joseph “Joey” Lester, both of Louisville; two daughters, Teresa Cassady of Louisville and Debbi Lester of Seattle, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Michael Lester, Leslie Wagner, Quentin Lester, Jacki Cassady, Chris Cassady, Corbin Lester and Madeline Reeves; and five great-grandchildren, Nathan Lester, Justin Lester, Aubrey Wagner and Avery Wagner.
