Funeral services for Harriett Stallins Tyler, 83, of Princeton, were conducted on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at 11 a.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Bill Williams officiated at the services. Burial followed in Blue Spring Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Tyler died on Sunday, May 28, 2006, at 9:50 a.m., at Hilltop Nursing Home following a short illness.

Mrs. Tyler was born on July 3, 1922, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruby Jane Morse Stallins.

Mrs. Tyler was a homemaker, and a member of the Princeton Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Tyler; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Martha Jane Tyler of Princeton, and Penny Louise and John Mahan, III, of Caldwell County; one grandson, James Tyler Mahan of Caldwell County; one stepson, Alvin Tyler of Taylor, Mich.; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
