Mrs. Jones died following a long illness at 2:45 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her home.
She was born January 14, 1935 in Trigg County to the late Clifton Choate and Mary Helen Hudleston Choate.
She was of the Baptist faith. Hattie worked at Trigg Knit Hoisery and Princeton Hosiery Mill.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Lee Choate.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Lyndell Gray Jones of Cadiz; one brother, Howard Choate of Cadiz; four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Choate, Mildred Ann Futrell and Ella Marie Mitchell all of Cadiz, and Myra Nell Radford of Hopkinsville; two sons, Roger Jones of Gracey and Wendell Jones (and wife Teressa) of Princeton; two daughters, Rhonda Jones and Brenda Jones Allen both of Cadiz; three grandchildren, Johanna Jones and Natalie Jones both of Hopkinsville and Wendy Jones of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Charles Butts, Kenny Turner, Teddy Birdsong, Orbie Gray, Mike Futrell, Brent Futrell, Larry Mitchell and Tim King. Honorary pallbearers were Bobbie Perry and Terry Wayne Choate. Music was provided by, Margaret Curtis pianist with Natalie Jones and Wilma Redd vocalist.
