Funeral services for Hazel (Peal) Cook were conducted on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Richard Sexton officiated at the services. Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, in Trigg Co.

Mrs. Cook died on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at Golden Living Center in Union City, TN after a short illness.

Mrs. Cook was born on Wednesday, April 30, 1941, in Murray, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Roy Calvert and Allie Myrtle (Crouse) Peal.

Mrs. Cook was retired from Healthsouth Nursing Home in Martin, TN. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include three sons, James Cook, of Fulton, KY, Kenny Gallimore, of Hazel, KY, Richard Gallimore, of Hazel, KY, one daughter, Denay Carson, of Puryear, TN, one sister, Dollie Stallons, of Cadiz, four grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Charles Terrell, Doris Terrell, Leroy Merrick, Jesse Sumner, Ricky Carson, and Tommy Starks.

Alice Guess, Pianist provided the music.
