A Celebration of life service for Hazel Elizabeth Oliver Redd, 74, of Cadiz, was conducted on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Revs. Paxton Redd and Monty Flanigan officiated at the services. Burial followed at Wall Cemetery, in Wallonia.

Mrs. Redd died on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at Trigg County Hospital, after a battle with cancer.

Mrs. Redd was born on Thursday, August 16, 1934, in Trigg Co. She is the daughter of the late Ernest Len Oliver, Sr. and Lula Agnes Oliver.

Mrs. Redd was a retired waitress. She was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Redd, a son Maurice Wayne Redd, and sister, Kathleen Dalton.

Survivors include two sons, Bruce Redd, of Princeton, and Kenny Redd, of Eddyville, two daughters and sons in law, Iris “Cissy” and Larry Lawrence, of Cadiz, Sandy and Barry Bybee, of Cadiz, three sisters, Agnes Aleshire, Lucille Tumblison, Margie Nelums, all of Cadiz, grandchildren, Tany Beth Redd, Stephanie and Todd Hampton, Zack Harris, Michael David Redd, Paxton and Chelsey Redd, Jaimee Redd, Marci and Matt Moser and Haley Harris. Step grandchildren, Tony Bybee, Michelle and Roger Knight, Cole and Nicole Bybee, great grandchildren, Tyler Harris, Ryan Hampton, Chase Hampton, Madilynn Moser, Elizabeth Ruth Redd, Step great grandchildren, Austin Knight, Brook-Lynn Knight, Grace Knight, Addison Bybee and Lane Bybee.

Serving as pallbearers were Scotty Hampton, Craig Perry, Dough Oliver, Mike Oakley, Tony Mitchell, Alfred Cossey, Rastus Robertson, and John Christie.

Becky Waldrup, vocalist and Justin Reynolds, vocalists and pianist provided the music.
