Family Advocate Jeannie Montgomery said that she talked to Donna McNichols with the Housing Authority about organizing a tribute for the children so that their parents, Wesley and Sabrina Austin, and their two-year-old brother, J.J., could have something to remember them by that would last forever. Montgomery said that Brayden and Hunter used to be in the preschool class and that J.J. is now in the infant/toddler class. Montgomery said he deserved something that could help him remember his brothers.
“Eventually, he’ll be in the preschool class, the same as his brother,” Montgomery said. “He’s not going to have any memories other than what we give him.”
