Memorial services for Memorial services for Helen Mary Jasek Stainfield, 68, of Cadiz, were conducted by Goodwin Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13, 2007, at 11 a.m., at the Canton Baptist Church.

Pastor Paul Cannon officiated at the services. Burial will follow in Dorset Cemetery in Dorset, Ohio, at a later date.

Mrs. Stainfield died on Tuesday, January 9, 2007, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital following a long battle with cancer.

Mrs. Stainfield was born on September 6, 1938, in Ashtabula, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Karol and Katherine Dratwa Jasek.

Mrs. Stainfield was retired from National Grange Ins., where she was a Bookkeeper; was a member of Canton Baptist Church; was a member of the Newcomers Club and the Red Hat Society; and was a Volunteer at the John L. Street Library.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ray Stainfield, of Cadiz; three daughters, Debra Ann Winters of Phoenix, Ariz., Tami Lynn Stainfield of Johennsburg of South Africa, and Dawn Marie Stills of St. Louis, Mo.; and a granddaughters, Stacey Stainfield of St. Louis, Mo.
