This year’s Storytelling Festival features local storytellers including Sherry Coleman, Bill Williams, Bro. Don Bailey, and Mary Ann Jordan. ?Stories were a way of passing on family history and folklore from one generation to another.
In keeping with tradition, the festival will include tall tales, myths, legends, and tales of life long ago for an afternoon of just plain fun! ?Feel free to bring your lawn chairs and blankets. ?
“Take a step back in time and experience life before modern technology. ?It will be an afternoon of fun that children will surely enjoy and remember for many years to come. Be sure to bring the whole family,” commented Cindy Earls, Special Events Coordinator.
Admission to The Homeplace is $4 ages 13 & up, $2 ages 5-12, and 4 and under are free. ?Land Between The Lakes is managed by the Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, in partnership with “Friends of LBL,” to provide public lands outdoor recreation and environmental education.
