Funeral services for Homer W. Bell, 95, of Gracey, were conducted on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Mike Lloyd officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Daniel Stewart Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mr. Bell died on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at 9:50 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mr. Bell was born on November 4, 1911, in Rutherford County, Tenn. He was the son of the late Charlie and Maude Travers Bell.

Mr. Bell was retired from General Motors; was a member of the Baptist Faith; and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Flora Stewart Bell; a son, Kirk Bell; step-son, Randolph Stewart; two brothers, Allen Bell and James Bell; and four sisters, Carrie Watson, Pauline Keener, Hilda Morris, and Nola Bell.

Survivors include his wife, Earlene Bell of Clarksville, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Cherly Bell of Milford, Mich.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Mike McGrail of South Lyon, Mich.; four step-sons and daughters-in-law, Donnie and Lenita Stewart of Lafayette, Tommy and Marilyn Stewart and Tony and Shelia Stewart, all of Gracey, and Jerry and Patricia Durham of Clarksville, Tenn.; step-daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Paul Allison of Fruit Hill; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 15 step-grandchildren; 24 step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Ben Cooper, Mike McGrail, Chris Bell, Bob Bell, Sean Bell, and Jeff Porter.
