eth Clayton Hooks pleaded guilty last week to a charge of receiving stolen property under $300. He was originally charged with receiving stolen property (firearm), but he entered a plea to the amended charge on July 24.
Hooks had been honored earlier in the year for his heroic efforts in rescuing a Hunter Braxton Wiseman from a burning vehicle. Hunter later died of his injuries at a Vanderbilt hospital.
