Hunter and Green announce engagement

Marty and Pat Hunter of Cadiz announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Grace Hunter, to Jason Lee Green, son of Lee and Judy Green of Central City.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Billy “Butch” and Polly Thomas and Robert Hunter and the late Ora Mae Hunter, all of Cadiz.

She is the great-granddaughter of Jesse and Lila Oakley of Murray.

Her fiancé is the grandson of Anna Bizzle of South Fulton, Tenn., and the late Lewis Bizzle and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Green

The bride-elect graduated from Georgetown College in 2004, with a Bachelor of Science degree and University of Kentucky in 2006, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She is employed by Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Lexington.

Her fiancé graduated from University of Kentucky in 2001, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He is employed by Public Service Commission in Frankfort.

The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 6 p.m., at the Donaldson Creek Baptist Church in Cadiz, with the Reception to follow at the home of the bride’s parents.

All friends and relatives are invited. Invitations are being sent to out-of-town guests only.
