The fire destroyed what was described as a single family dwelling at 9456 South Road in Trigg County. Investigators described the building as a wood frame structure.
The investigation narrative in the report said that Dunn had returned to his home in a state of extreme intoxication. Dunn’s girlfriend said that he was a heavy smoker, and often smoked in bed. Incense was often burned in the residence, and space heaters were used to provide additional heat. Dunn’s girlfriend also said he burned incense in a closet, and complained of electrical problems before the blaze.
