Rev. Henry Russell, Jr., officiated at the services. Burial followed in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mrs. Turner died on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at 4:45 a.m., at Clarian Health Partners Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind., of natural causes.
Mrs. Turner was born on August 22, 1944, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Veo, Sr., and Lizzie Emma Thacker McGee.
Mrs. Turner was employed by Western Electric in Indianapolis, Ind., and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadiz.
Survivors include four brothers, Eddie Richard McGee of Indianapolis, Ind., Roy McGee, Jimmie Lee McGee, and Columbus McGee, all of Cadiz; and a sister, Hazelene Douglas of Indianapolis, Ind.
