The format will be the same as last year with the Evansville swing band the Temple Airs playing music from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Lake Barkley State Resort Park’s William T. Breathitt Convention Center. Tickets to this portion of the evening cost $150 and includes dinner provided by Lake Barkley’s cooking staff.
The second portion of the evening will start at 10 p.m. with the 1960s cover band Cat Daddy. This part will cost $50 a couple. Lisowsky said the band was a big hit last year. They will play until 1 p.m.
Lisowsky said that the Temple Airs have played every year since the event started. They formed for the sole purpose of playing at fundraisers for nonprofit organizations. The museum only has to pay for their bus, she said.
Lisowsky said the event is always popular and draws people not only from Cadiz but other places as well. A few new also seem to discover it each year, she said.
