Trigg County’s junior varsity football team lost on a last-minute touchdown Monday at Hopkinsville.

The Wildcats led 8-6 heading into the final minute of play, but the Tigers managed a last-ditch score to take a 14-8 win.

Kyler Hendricks caught Trigg’s touchdown pass, and Hakeem Tyler scored the two-point conversion.

The JV team returns to action Monday at Union County, while the freshmen will play Thursday at Marshall County.
