JV ‘Cats win district tournament

The Trigg County Wildcat junior varsity basketball team won the 5th District Tournament held Saturday in Marion.

The Wildcats won both of their games by double digits, topping Crittenden County 50-29 and Lyon County 51-39.

The tournament win came two days after the JV ‘Cats ended their regular season with a 49-45 win at Todd County Central. The freshman team ended its season the same night and on a winning note as well, defeating the Rebels 52-38.
