A memorial service for Jacqueline A. Seng, 69, of Cadiz, will be held Saturday, September 4, 2010 at King’s Funeral Home with visitation from 2- 3p.m. Minister Joe Andary will officiate.

Mrs. Seng died following a long illness at 10:48 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her home.

She was born October 27, 1940 in Lima, Ohio to Lorrent Fournier and Helen Hartman Fournier.

She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and took additional classes in accounting. She was employed as a bookkeeper for many businesses in Lima, Ohio and in the Ypsilanti, Mich. area. She was a member of the Newcomers Club, the Montgomery Homemakers and the Peicemakers group of the Trigg County Quilter’s Guild. She volunteered at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah and at the Ham Festival Quilt Show.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorrent and Helen Fournier.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David F. Seng of Cadiz; two brothers, James Fournier of Pleasant Lake, Ind. and Edward Fournier of Lima, Ohio; one sister, Sharon (and husband James Weaver) of Deland, Fla.; one son, David L. Seng (and wife Robbie) of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Christine Andary (and husband Joseph) of Shreveport, La. and Deborah Doboze (and husband Steve) of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
