Funeral services for Jane Ella Blane, 89, of Cadiz, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2009 at Second Baptist Church in Cadiz with the Rev. Jerry Bacon officiating and burial following in the Cunningham-Mayes Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.

Mrs. Blane died of natural causes at 12:30 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2009 at Trigg County Hospital.

She was born July 27, 1920 in Trigg County. She was a housekeeper for Ruby McGraw and a member of Second Baptist Church.

Survivors include a stepson, Donald Blane, and several great nieces and nephews in Cadiz.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Irvin, and her second husband, Eugene Blane. Her parents were Headley Mayes and Jennie Lynn Mayes.
