Mrs. Gish died on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at 3:10 a.m., at her home of natural causes.
Mrs. Gish was born on June 21, 1940, in Henderson, Ky. She was the daughter of Iva D. Tooley Hare of Henderson, and the late Charles Freddie Hare.
Mrs. Gish was a homemaker and a member of Sebree Eastern Star Chapter No. 240.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Thomas E. Clayton, Jr.; brother, Darrell D. Hare; sister, Alice Faye Ferguson; and grandson, Thomas Eugene Clayton, IV.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Edward H. “Buddy” Gish of Cadiz; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Eugene, III, and Eva Clayton, of Batesville, Miss.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra Clayton and Tony Curtis of Cadiz, Kimberly and Bud Majors of Henderson, and Kathy and Mike Groves of Robards; special friend, Russ Huffine of Henderson; two brothers, Freddie Lane Hare and Harold Ray “Butch” Hare, both of Anthoston, Ky.; sister-in-law, Frances Alexander of San Angelo, Texas; eight grandchildren, Joseph Boster, Jarryd Boster, Charla Majors, Tommy Wayne Clayton, Christopher Alexander Clayton, Misty Adams, Amber George, and Jenny Stasinski; and several great-grandchildren.
