Graveside services for Jean Doris Manley Bryan, 81, of Frankfort, KY were conducted at Peaksmill Cemetery, at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2009. The Rev. Steven Johns-Boehme officiated at the service. Burial followed in Peaksmill Cemetery.

Mrs. Bryan died on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Kindred of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, following an illness.

A native of Franklin Co., she was born, June 25, 1927. She was a retired care giver and teacher. She was a member of First Christian Church.

She is survived by her sons, Michael T. Bryan and wife Donna, of Cadiz, and David Lee Bryan and wife Nellie, of Lexington; her daughters, Kathy Lynn Bryan and Leslie Bryan Stamper and Husband Michael, both of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Ursula Ray, Nicole McDaniel, Taylor Stamper and John Allan Bryan and two great grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Taylor and Frona Perry Manley. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Revel Manely and Herbert Taylor Manely.
