Private graveside services for Jettie Ladd Collins, 61, of Mayfield, formerly of Trigg County, were conducted by King’s Funeral Home on Friday, January 12, 2007, at 11 a.m., at the Caldwell Blue Springs Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Sister Cindy Oliver officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Cemetery.

Mrs. Collins died on Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at 7:30 a.m., at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., of natural causes.

Mrs. Collins was born on March 3, 1945, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Roy and Floye Belle Colley Ladd.

Mrs. Collins was a seamstress, and was a member of Canton Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Eugene Collins of Mayfield; two daughters, Sandra Collins Harper of Mayfield, and Christina Lee Franklin of Vienna, Ill.; five grandchildren, Demis Harper, Matthew Harper, Landon Hunt, Alexsander French, and Dylan French, all of Mayfield; two step-grandchildren, Destiny Franklin and BriAnna Franklin, both of Vienna, Ill.

Serving as pallbearers were Eddie Harper, Demis Harper, Matthew Harper, Landon Hunt, Michael Franklin, Alexsander French, and Dylan French.
