Funeral services for Jimmy Franklin Stallons, 62, of Hopkinsville, were held Friday, December 17, 2010. The Revs. Todd Gray and Jamus Edwards officiated. Burial followed in the East Cadiz Baptist Church Cemetery. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Stallons died of natural causes at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Mr. Stallons was born November 26, 1948 in Cadiz to Zelma Gray Stallons of Cadiz and the late James Edward Stallons. He was the co-owner/operator of Stallons Auto Sales in Hopkinsville. Jimmy was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Oak Grove. He had served as Mission Service Corps Volunteer through the North American Mission Board since 1989.

He is survived by his mother Zelma Stallons of Cadiz; his wife of 43 years Faye Joiner Stallons of Hopkinsville; one brother, Jerry Stallons of Cadiz; two sisters, Martha Edwards of Cadiz and Rita Stewart of Cadiz; four sons, Lance Stallons of Cadiz, Russ and David Stallons of Hopkinsville and Stephen Stallons of The Woodlands, Texas; 13 grandchildren, Landan, Tanner, Alyssa, Josie, Caleb, Jacob, Kelsey, Paige, Aaron, Bethany, Ethan, Elizabeth and Mason.
