Joan Ruth “Linnea” Waldman died of natural causes at 9:57 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Princeton Health and Rehab in Princeton. The body was cremated. No services were held. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She was born September 20, 1913 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Karl Johnson and Hilda M. Swanson Johnson.

She retired after 30 years as the owner-operator of Waldman’s Dress Shop in Chi-cago, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Waldman; two brothers, Al Johnson and Karl Johnson.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Johnson of Glenview, Ill.; one son, Karl Waldman (and wife Joanne) of Cadiz; and three grandchildren, Brian Coatesville, Ind., Blaine Waldman of Chatsworth, Calif. and Alicia Waldman of Indianapolis, Ind.; and one great grandson, Keith S. Ingram, Jr. of Indianapolis, Ind.
