Rev. Ronnie Hooks officiated at the services. Burial followed at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, in Trigg Co.
Mr. Darnall died on Friday, March 6, 2009, at 3 a.m. at Decedent’s Residence in Cadiz, of natural causes.
Mr. Darnall was born on Friday, February 26, 1926, in Trigg Co. He was the son of the late Joseph Nuck and Lou Ella Dixon Darnall.
Mr. Darnall was retired from the City of Cadiz where he was water plant operator. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He served as church treasurer for 33 years and served as Sunday school teacher. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Dean Thomas Darnall, one sister, Lou Ella Dixon Darnall, five brothers, Elias Darnall, Fentress Darnall, Clayton Darnall, Eugene Darnall, Elwood Darnell.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Libby Darnall, of Cadiz, daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Roger Dillingham, of Bowling Green, one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Irvin and Geneva Darnall, of Cadiz, one sister, Addie Harris, of Hopkinsville, grandchildren, Fred and Chasity Darnall, Jr., Chrissy and Tim Bush, James Russell and Deanna Dillingham, Jennifer Jo Dillingham and Natalie Brooke Dillingham. Great grandchildren, Logan Darnall, Ezra Darnall, Tyson Bush, Rylee Bush, and Reese Bush.
Serving as pallbearers were Freddie Darnall, Roger Dillingham, Fred Darnall, Jr., Russ Dillingham, Tim Bush, Elwood Darnall, Johnny Darnall.
Steve Darnall, organist provided the music.
