Memorial services for John A. “Jack” Hudelson, 76, of Cadiz, were conducted on Monday, December 4, 2006, at 12 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Paul Cannon officiated at the services.

Mr. Hudelson died on Friday, December 1, 2006, at 9:50 a.m., at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, of natural causes.

Mr. Hudelson was born on December 13, 1929, in Hazleton, Ind. He was the son of the late John L. and Ada Eugene Arthur Hudelson.

Mr. Hudelson was the former owner and operator of Parkview Court in Trigg County; was a member of the Methodist Faith; and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Judy Hudelson.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Barbara Hill Hudelson of Cadiz; a son, John Robert Hudelson of West Lafayette, Ind.; a daughter, Janel Ann Hudelson of Cadiz; a sister, Janet Beadles of Hazleton, Ind.; three grandchildren, John William Hudelson, Tracy S. Hudelson, and Julie Wadlington; and six great-grandchildren, Jordan Hudelson, Taylor Hudelson, Kyley Smith, Shelby Hudelson, Trevor Smith, and Walker Wadlington.

Jan Hudelson, instrumentalist, Betty Oakley, pianist, and Canton Baptist Church Choir provided the music.
