Rev. Willie Morgan officiated at the services. Burial followed in Hawkins Cemetery in Christian County.
Mr. Croft died on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at 10 p.m., in Crofton, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mr. Croft was born on July 31, 1963, in Christian County. He was the son of Joanna Love Holmes of Madisonville, and the late George Clifton Croft.
Mr. Croft was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, James “Jamie” Croft; and a brother, George Clifton Croft, Jr.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a son, John Wayne Croft, Jr., of Hopkinsville; a sister, Loretta Knight of Hopkinsville; three brothers, Dale Eugene Croft, Thomas E. Croft, and Kevin Douglas Croft, all of Hopkinsville; step son, Thomas Michael Croft of Gracey; step daughter, Chaisse McCord of Gracey; grandchild, Kevin James Croft; and step grandchild, Dakota McCord.
Serving as pallbearers were Thomas E. Croft, Dale Croft, Loretta Knight, Thomas Michael Croft, Chad Love, Johnny Gillingham, Timmy Keowan, and James Taylor.
