Cadiz Record - Jones’ Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Johnnie and Charlie Jones

Calvary Baptist Church, 121 KY Avenue in Princeton, will be the setting for the 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration for Charlie and Johnnie Jones, on Saturday, August 26, 2006, from 2-4 p.m.

Charlie Jones and the former Johnnie Merrick exchanged wedding vows on August 27, 1956, in Springfield, Tenn.

They were blessed with one daughter and son-in-law, the late Brenda and Roger Light; two grandchildren, Dustin and wife Stephanie Light, and Shea Light.
