Mr. Wynn died Saturday, January 8, 2011, at his home in Cadiz. He was a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church and was a retired machinist at Johnson Controls and Ebonite International. He was also a member of the NRA.
Survivors include two sons, Shannon Wynn and David Wynn, both of Cadiz; two brothers, Kenneth Harper of Cadiz and Lynndale Harper of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Elsie Harper and Teresa Harper both of Cadiz; three half-brothers, Randy Wynn of Cadiz, James Wynn of Fulton, Mo., and Malcolm Wynn of Cadiz; two half-sisters, Tammy Birdsong of Murray and Jackie Moore of Hopkinsville; one step-brothers, Gary Wayne Curtis of Cadiz; one stepsister, Alice McAllister of Princeton; and two grandchildren, James David Wynn and Brian Austin Wynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Garland Woodrow Wynn and Lois Ann Jones; wife Linda Wynn, brother Harlan Wynn, step-mother Nell Curtis Wynn and foster parents Roy and Thelma Harper.
Serving as pallbearers were Kenneth Harper, Wylie Oliver, Derrick Ramey, Dorris Litchfield, David Mitchell and Malcolm Wynn.
