Funeral services for Lacy Burnam, 85, of Caldwell County, were conducted on Sunday, February 26, 2006, at 2:30 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Leslie Joyce officiated at the services. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Burnam died on Friday, February 24, 2006, at 2:05 a.m., in Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton following a short illness.

Mr. Burnam was born on August 25, 1920, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Thomas and Hattie May Hall Burnam.

Mr. Burnam was a retired farmer, and a member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Burnam and Ellis Burnam; and a sister, Bertha Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Stallins Burnam; a son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Margaret Burnam of Sturgis; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bill and Angela Burnam of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Ann and Jeremy Bryant of Zionsville, Ind.; and a great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Bryant; and three nephews.
