The Lady Cats came having played only once since last playing Todd County back on March 28th when they were beat 15-5. The Lady Cats were fighting high winds and Todd County early in the game, as Todd County would go up 3-0 early on. Cody Littlejohn started for the Lady Cats in their first home game since March 24th when Littlejohn took a hard loss at the hands of Hopkinsville. Littlejohn started out the game a bit rough as the Lady Rebels touched her early for three runs but as Cody settled in a different attitude started to show from her and her Lady cat teammates.
In the bottom of the second, the Lady Cats started to show signs of a new attitude as Senior Kalesha Williams opened the inning with a single and Keisha Stewart got a double before the inning ended by a strikeout.
In the third inning, Littlejohn punched a line drive single to right field, then stole second base while Ashley noel was at the plate. Littlejohn would be left at second as the inning ended with two outs after reaching base.
