A gift goal gave Trigg County the lead, and the Lady Wildcats made it stand up in a 4-1 win Sept. 26 in Elkton.

Trigg County won consecutive games for the first time in school history, with the victory over the Lady Rebels coming a week after a 2-0 shutout of Webster County.

Todd County inadvertently kicked the ball into the Trigg County net for the only goal of the first half.

The Lady Wildcats got on track in the second half as Laykn Brooks tallied a pair of goals and Kelsey Hill added another to put the game away.

Brooks leads the Lady Wildcats with eight goals, while Molly Walters leads the Lady Wildcats in assists with five.

Trigg County improved their season record to 4-7-2.

Taylor Davis and Abigail Torian each had a goal to lead Trigg County to a 2-1 win the J.V. game.

The Lady Wildcats return to action Thursday with a 7 p.m. contest with Muhlenberg South at the Complex. Senior Night festivities will be held prior to the game.
