The Cadiz Record incorrectly reported last week that Darla Mitchell, 43, 84 Iron St., was charged with driving under the influence with a suspended license. She was actually arrested only for driving with a suspended license, which was suspended because of a past DUI offense.

Hopkinsville woman arrested

Chandra Bailey, 38, of Hopkinsville was arrested on Jan. 15 on a Christian County bench warrant for nonsupport. Police located her in a Wallace Avenue residence in Cadiz and found that she was wanted in Christian County after a warrant check.

Washer’s break-in

Aaron Wilson, 44, of Wallace Avenue, was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree on Jan. 16. According to the report, he was identified on surveillance videotape at Washer’s IGA. Earlier in the night, police had responded to a burglary at Washer’s, where several cartons of cigarettes had been taken. After a lengthy search of the area, Officer Jeff Ethridge found him at 4:30 a.m.

Warrant served

The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department arrested Chandra Bailey, 38, of Hopkinsville, on Jan. 16. They executed a bench warrant for failure to appear in court. The original charge was for use/possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 18.

Son fights father

Steven Eugene White, 26, of 115 Melody Lane, on Jan. 20. They were dispatched to his residence because of a fight between him and his father. According to the report, both subjects were intoxicated. The defendant reportedly became belligerent and started fighting with his father. His father had a superficial cut on his left forearm and White had a small scratch on his neck. Other people at the scene said that White was the primary aggressor.
