Failure to appear

Shelby R. Mart, 20, of 69 Forest Circle, was arrested by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department on Jan. 27 after being served with a Trigg County bench warrant for failure o appear in court.

Suspended license

John P. Thurman, 31, of 100 Forest Circle, was arrested on Jan. 24. Deputy Jimmy Godair stopped him after noticing that his tags were expired. After checking his driver’s license, it turned out that it was suspended because of a DUI charge. Thurman was charged with driving with a suspended license, first offense, failure to maintain proper ins/sec, first offense, and having no registration plates.

Pot possession

Paul Thurston, 24, of Brant Dr., was arrested by Cadiz Police on Jan. 20 and charged with possession of marijuana. After being stopped, he admitted to having marijuana in his glove box.

Drunk at scene of accident

Chance DeMoss, 19, of Eddyville, was arrested on Jan. 19 and charged with expired registration and operating a motor vehicle under the influence. DeMoss was involved in a motor vehicle accident, and Officer J.R. Burnett noticed after arriving at the scene that he couldn’t stand without assistance. He was reportedly unable to do any kind of sobriety test and blew a .185 on a breath test. The legal limit is .08.
