Rev. Mike Ripski officiated at the services. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home in Nashville was in charge of all the arrangements.
Mrs. Cothran died on Monday, February 27, 2006.
Mrs. Cothran was born on March 31, 1915, in Model, Tenn.
Mrs. Cothran retired after 48 years as a teacher in Kentucky, Illinois, and Metro-Davidson County schools; was a member of Belle Meade United Methodist Church; member of the Retired Teachers Association; and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall C. Cothran, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jeff Loring of Nashville; a granddaughter, Catherine Taylor Loring; a sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor Sills and Sam Brandon of Ashland City, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Ted Sills, Bailey Wimberly, Robert Wimberly, J.W. Wimberly, Mike Loring, Steve Loring, Tim Bess, David Ashburn, and Serim Huh.
