"We look forward to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series coming to Paducah," stated Promoter Bob Sargent, "the Lucas Series is one of the most asked about series from our fans, and we are fortunate to have a weekend that works out well with our schedule and theirs, so that we can bring them to the speedway." That weekend will be a great weekend of racing at Paducah International Raceway. Friday May 1st we will have a U.M.P special for the Super Late Models and Saturday May 2nd a $10,000 to win show with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
"We are definitely excited to have Paducah added to our schedule, especially to be part of the 2009 'Road to Wheatland," stated Series Director Ritchie Lewis, "it is an exciting place to watch a race and definitely one of the most competitive tracks in the country, and I can't wait to bring our show into the mix"
The event scheduled for May 2nd, 2009 will be the first ever appearance of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in history. It will also become the final stop on the 2009 "Road to Wheatland" leading up to the 3rd Annual "Super Clean Diamond Nationals".
