Rev. Norman Ellis and Dr. Hilda Bentley officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mrs. Perdue died on Monday, February 19, 2007, at 10:33 a.m., at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
Mrs. Perdue was born on May 23, 1923, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Willis Ennis Minton and Dorothy Mae Alexander Minton Husk.
Mrs. Perdue was a Music Teacher and Musician for Lake Barkley State Resort Park, and was a member of the Cadiz United Methodist Church, where she had served as pianist, organist, and Choir Director.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Perdue in October 1961; and two brothers, Hugh Gary Minton and Layton Minton.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Marty Perdue of Dacula, Ga., and Gary Perdue of Lexington; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and John M. Brandon, Jr., of Hopkinsville; brother, John Dean Minton of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, Lori Brandon Hall, Elizabeth Perdue Kirk, William Paul Perdue, III, Evan Perdue, and Haley Perdue; and three great-grandchildren, Trey Kirk, Kennedy Kirk, and Lexie Hall.
Pam Witty, organist, provided the music.
Serving, as pallbearers were Paul Perdue, Evan Perdue, Billy Kirk, Larry Hall, Don Minton, and Jack Minton.
