Mrs. Young died on Friday, May 27, 2005, at 11 a.m., at her residence of natural causes.
Mrs. Young was born on January 31, 1942, in Corydon, Ind. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Rice and Margaret Ellen Gailey Stewart.
Mrs. Young was retired Civil Service at Fort Campbell and a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Gray Young of Clarksville, Tenn.; a son, James Eric Richter of Anderson, S.C.; two daughters, Susan Richter Davis of Anderson, S.C., Elaine Kaye Richter of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Thomas Stewart of Paducah; and four grandchildren, Amanda VanValkenbug, Kristopher Richter, Ashley Davis, and Jacob Davis.
Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.
