Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth Grubbs 90, of Trigg County were conducted on Friday, April 10, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Bloomfield Baptist Church, Cadiz, Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Bailey Davie officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres.

Mrs. Grubbs died on Sunday, April 5, 2009, at 6:50 a.m. at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.

Mrs. Grubbs was born on December 23, 1918, in Linton, KY. She was the daughter of the late Major and Flossie Tyler Jones.

Mrs. Grubbs was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Linton, KY. She was member of the Mothers Board and Choir.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Grubbs.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Lee Grubbs, Gracey, Willie Gene Grubbs, Cadiz, and Don Grubbs, six daughters, Ann Bush, Cadiz, Willie Mae Grubbs, Cadiz, Linda Gude, Cadiz, Shirley Quarles, Cadiz, Rose Grubbs, Murray, and Mary Jackson, Mayfield, three brothers, Charles Jones, Cadiz, Emmitt Jones, Ypsilanti, MI, and Linnis Bacon, Jr., Indianapolis, IN, forty four grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 59 great-great grandchildren.
