Rev. Dean Ray and Rev. Wayne Glass officiated at the services. Burial followed in Lamasco Baptist Church Cemetery in Lamasco.
Mrs. Lancaster died on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 5:30 a.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Lancaster was born on July 6, 1925, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late James Clarence "Jim" and Lallie Lurline Sanders Redick.
Mrs. Lancaster was retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park where she was a cook; was a homemaker; and a member of Lamasco Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Joan Gray, and Betty Carolyn Watkins; three brothers, Alfred "Shorty" Redick, James Redick, and William "Bill" Redick; and a sister, Laura Lee Redick.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Floyd Lancaster, Jr., of Lamasco; a daughter, Martha Jean Smith of Raleigh, N.C.; two sisters, Dardanella Durham of Dexter, and Betty Minton of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren, Michael Watkins, Ronald Watkins, Angela Green, Tracey Bergwardt, John Wayne Patterson, Jr., Melissa Patterson Mills, Susan Carol Tucker, Justin Gray, Kendra Craft, and Skylar Gray; 15 great-grandchildren, Danielle Watkins, Michael Watkins, Chelliney Watkins, Gabrielle Watkins, Charlie Bergwardt, Leah Green, Meaghan Green, Cameron Green, Matthew Patterson, Chelsey Patterson, Ella Mills, Kyle Tucker, Blake Tucker, Kyra Craft, and Kerstin Craft.
Music was provided by Anna Lois Sexton, organist, and John Minton, Jr., vocalist.
Serving as pallbearers were Barry Alexander, Brandon Alexander, Malcolm Ray Thomas, John Minton, Jr., Elmer Pickett, Travis Pickett, James Randall Redick, and Johnny Redick.
Honorary pallbearers were Michael Watkins, Ronald Watkins, and Justin Gray.
